A 9-member delegation from SingHealth and Temasek Foundation visited Fujian for the MOU signing ceremony of the Training-of-Trainers programme funded by Temasek Foundation. SingHealth Group CEO Prof Tan Ser Kiat and Fujian Provincial Health Bureau Director General Yang Ping signed the MOU in Fuzhou. Temasek Foundation Chairman Goh Geok Khim and Singapore Consul General Tee Bee Lock witnessed the ceremony. During the visit, the delegation called on Fujian Vice Governor Hong Jiexu and Xiamen Vice Mayor Pan Shijian.
新加坡保健服务集团和淡马锡基金会代表团共9位成员访问福建, 参加由淡马锡基金会赞助的医疗人员赴新培训计划签约仪式. 新保集团总裁陈思杰教授与福建省卫生厅阳平厅长代表双方在福州签署培训协议, 淡马锡基金会吴玉钦主席及新加坡驻厦郑美乐总领事见证签约仪式. 期间, 代表团一行也拜访了福建省人民政府洪捷序副省长及厦门市人民政府潘世建副市长.

The Singapore Consulate-General in Xiamen, Singapore Club in Fujian and SingCham (Fujian Chapter) co-organized a charity countdown event on 31 December 2009 at Yeo Hwa Hotel. During this event, a ceremony for the presentation of an RMB10m (including S$660,000 training fund provided by Temasek Foundation) was held. Xiamen Vice Mayor Pan Shijian graced the occasion.
由新加坡驻厦门总领事馆、福建省新加坡人协会及中国新加坡商会福建省分会联合举办的慈善迎新晚会于2009年12月31日在厦门悦华酒店举行. 晚会现场举行了1000万人民币(含淡马锡基金会新币66万的培训基金) 善款的捐赠仪式.

The Singapore community, the Singapore Club and SingCham (Fujian Chapter) jointly organized a charity countdown party on 31 December 2008 at Marco Polo (Xiamen) Hotel. During this event, a ceremony for the presentation of a RMB5m cheque (totaling the donations received as of 31 December 2008) was held.

Mr Pan Shjian (潘世建), Vice Mayor of Xiamen Municipal Goverment, met Consul General Tee Bee Lock and representatives of the Singapore community in Fujian.
During the meeting, he voiced the determination of Xiamen government to begin to construct the polyclinic as early as March 2009, and to complete construction before the end of 2009.

Mr Pan Shijian (潘世建), Vice Mayor of Xiamen Municipal Government, formally met Consul-General Tee Bee Lock and representatives of the Singaporean community in Fujian to convey the Xiamen government's in-principle agreement to be a partner of the Singapore community on the charity project. He also identified a plot of land in Jimei for the polyclinic for the community's consideration.
